The Q Charm began with one simple question: What makes something worth keeping?
People often assume I grew up making leather goods.
I didn't.
My family has spent more than a decade in manufacturing, producing textile accessories for clothing brands around the world.
Our business focused on elastic bands and garment accessories.
Leather wasn't part of that world.
But manufacturing taught me lessons that shaped the way I see every product today.
I learned that quality is rarely an accident.
Every stitch, every material, every finishing detail reflects a decision someone made.
The best products don't happen because they're expensive.
They happen because somebody cared enough to do things properly.
Outside work, I've always been drawn to genuine leather.
Not because it feels luxurious, although it certainly does.
Because it changes.
A leather bag doesn't look exactly the same after five years.
Neither does a favourite wallet.
The marks, the softness and the patina become part of its story.
That fascinated me.
Instead of wearing out, good leather wears in.
It becomes more personal with time.
The materials we choose say something about how we value the things we own.
When I started looking for a leather bag charm, I expected to find something simple.
Elegant.
Well made.
Something that felt meaningful enough to carry every day.
Instead, I kept seeing the same things.
Plastic.
Disposable trends.
Accessories that looked fun for a season but didn't feel like something I'd still love years later.
I realised I wasn't searching for another bag accessory.
I was searching for a keepsake.
When I couldn't find one, I decided to create it.
I never wanted The Q Charm to become a brand that encouraged people to buy more for the sake of buying more.
I'd rather someone own one charm they truly love than a drawer full of accessories they barely remember.
That's why every collection begins with a story instead of a trend.
A beloved dog.
A meaningful journey.
A zodiac sign.
A new chapter.
A place that changed your life.
Those are the moments worth carrying.
If you choose one of our charms, I hope the first thing you notice is the craftsmanship.
But I hope that's not the last thing you remember.
I hope it quietly becomes part of your everyday life.
I hope it travels with you.
I hope someone notices it one day and asks,

Because that's the moment I imagined when I started this journey.

Building The Q Charm has reminded me that the smallest objects often carry the greatest meaning.
